History:
Hometown Oil was founded in December 2005 with the idea that reasonable oil prices are possible while still providing excellent customer service. In 2007 we partnered with Lariviere Oil to combine the various talents of both business owners. This partnership combined with our dedicated staff, customers, and advising team has helped us grow each year.

To provide our customers with great service combined with a competitively low price while always adhering to the highest standards. We aim to be a leader in oil delivery on the Seacoast.


Our Team:


Joseph Baroni, Owner
Joe grew up on the cape before relocating after college to the NH seacoast. In 1993 he started building and delivering sheds for a new business venture Sheds USA. Sheds USA has grown and now has operations in 26 states. An entrepreneur at heart, he started Hometown Oil in 2005. Joe lives in Portsmouth with his wife, three sons, and daughter. In his spare time he can be found tuna fishing, skiing, and engaging in other adventures with close friends and family.


Marc Lariviere, Delivery Partner
Marc is a North Hampton native. In 2001 Marc started Lariviere Oil to offset the seasonality of his lawn care business. After six successful years, he made the decision to merge his oil business with his friend’s to operate as one under the name Hometown Oil. Marc lives with his wife while his daughter and son are just out of the house making their way in the world. In his limited spare time, he can be found trying to recharge at camp in Northern Maine or spending time with his family and friends.


Julieanne Estes, General Manager
Julieanne also known as “Jules” has been with Hometown since its inception in 2006. Her working background is in office management and customer service before her employment with Sheds USA in 2003. Originally from sunny Florida, she now lives in Barrington with her husband, daughter, and various pets. In any spare time she likes to spend time with family, friends, a good book and if the weather is nice, you’ll find her outside!


Charles Haley, Customer Service & Delivery Coordinator
Chuck has worked at Hometown Oil since 2008. He is originally from a small town in Maine which he likes to visit in the summer. After graduating from college Chuck worked for a large retail company as a Customer Service & Sales Manager for 10 years in Massachusetts, Connecticut & New Hampshire. On days off, he enjoys playing golf and is an avid Yankees fan.

Almost all my family’s birthdays are in January after the holidays so combined with the high oil bills money is always tight. This past year I did a cap plan with EZ payments. Since I knew my costs this plan eased the financial stress I always feel during the winter!
