Helping Heroes: Where It All Began
Back in May 2011, we wanted to do something special for local military families. So we decided to deliver oil to them at a significantly discounted rate for one year. After that year was up, we didn’t want to stop—so we kept going! Now, each time a family completes their year of savings, it frees us up to offer that same price break to another hero in our community. This idea quickly grew to include firefighters, police officers, and teachers, because we see how vital they are to our everyday lives.
Our Commitment to Giving Back
Beyond our Helping Heroes program, we at Hometown Oil also like to partner with local nonprofits and charitable organizations to help out where we can. Sometimes that means delivering oil “at cost.” Other times it’s a direct donation, or a creative collaboration.
