Things to Know
No heat or hot water?
Troubleshoot with steps
Check oil level.
If oil is in tank:
Is the thermostat set above room temperature? Turn it up and see if furnace/boiler comes on.
Make sure red emergency switch is on. Usually found at top of stairs or near unit. Also make sure switch on side of unit is on.
Try pressing the reset button on the unit ONCE to see if it starts. Important: Never press reset more than once or you may flood / harm the unit.
If unit still not functional, contact us for a service call.
I’m out of oil and need an emergency delivery after business hours.
We offer 24 Hour Emergency Service to Automatic Delivery Customers.
Although it’s rare, run outs can occur due to household changes. As long as balance is current, we’ll fill tank and restart furnace / boiler for no charge.
Will Call - If you are not on automatic delivery, please leave a message, text, email or contact us during normal business hours. We are unable to accept any new accounts after normal business hours.

Typically within three business days after the order is placed.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No, but the driveway, path, and fill need to be clear and accessible free of ice and snow. Provide us with all contact information in the event we need to speak to you.
Active vs Inactive Accounts / Customers?
To be an active customer, the following criteria has to be met:
There is a price protection plan set up on the account with no past due payments.
The account is set up with automatic delivery with no past due payments.
Inactive accounts are able to place an order any time with payment at time of order.
How do you know my tank is full when delivering and just what is a whistle?
Tanks have two external pipes: a fill and a vent pipe. When filling the tank, air is pushed out the vent pipe making a whistling noise. When full, air is no longer being pushed out so the whistle stops alerting the delivery person to stop filling. If no whistle, for safety reasons we cannot deliver fuel until the issue is resolved.
